Happy Mothers Day!!!!

I just want to say to all mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers, soon to be mothers and those who are a mother in some way Happy Mothers Day!!!!!!!!!!!

For my mothers day Gabe got me a new phone and a wonderful card (the card made me cry). But I must say that what he really gave me was the best gift in all the world, my wonderful baby girl. I am so thankful to have Adeleah. She is the best baby and just a joy to have around. I love her so very much and can't picture my life without her. So thank you so much honey for giving me the very best gift I could ever ask for.

2 Months

Yesterday we went in for Adeleahs two month appointment. They say she is doing great and looks wonderful. She is 10lbs 8ozs and 22 1/4" (50 percentile for both). She also got her two month shots, I made Gabe come with us so that he could be the bad guy and hold her during it. All and all she did pretty good, didn't like the shots but got over it. The only thing now is that she wants her mommy a little more and last night wasn't great for me. She woke up a few more times than normal.

Things here have been good, not much going on. Adeleah goes in for her two month checkup tomorrow. I can't believe she is two months already. The time just goes by so fast, it feels like just yesterday that we had her and now..... Anyway, you all know how it is when you have a baby. And man do I love her. She is a great baby. She has her days when she makes life not so fun. But Gabe and I wouldn't have it any other way. The only thing we would ask for is that she stop growing so fast.

Easter

Happy Easter! We had a good easter weekend here with friends. Sat we had a egg hunt at the church that we helped with, it was fun to watch all the kids go after the eggs. Adeleah was sleeping through must of it which was fine because it gave me free hands. The rest of the day we were just at home together as a family. Sunday we had church which was nice, the talks were good. After church we took some pictures and then I started easter dinner. We had a family from church over for dinner and the played on the wii. The Easter bunny come with things for Adeleah and more candy then Gabe really needed. Adeleah really didn't care about anything but thats ok, she did only turn 6 weeks yesterday:) All in all we had a good Easter together as a family.

Adeleah could care less about the pictures, but she did look very cute.

This was sat afternoon, I was trying to get her smile but she would only let me get half of it. She come out smiling in her sleep and just when ever, but about 2 weeks ago she started to smile at us.

Gabes Family

Gabes parents and little sister come out to see the baby for a week. It was conference weekend so we didn't do a lot but visit with each other and play with Adeleah. It was wonderful to have them out and for them to get to meet Adeleah. Plus I didn't have to cook or do the dishes the whole time they were here so that was great, thanks for that. Getting up to date...

So I have been meaning to get on here and post but for those of you that have children you know how it is. Anyway, since I last posted:
My mom come out for a week.
My mom was able to come out and be with us for a week. It was so nice to have her here and for her to meet Adeleah. The first few days we didn't really do much because I was still not moving around very well. Finally we were able to get out and do some shopping together and just spend some time together. On Sat we were all able to go down to St Augustine and the beach. Then on the way back we stopped at the outlet mall. We went into OshKosh B'gosh and got a few things for Adeleah. I must say that my mom and husband should not go into baby stores together, they will buy everything (well that is cute). Then on sunday we blessed Adeleah so that my mom could be here for it. Monday mom and I took Adeleah in for her two week check. Then sadly mom had to fly home on tuesday.

Adeleah was a sleep for most of the time at the beach, the only time she was awake was when she was eating.

Gabe gave Adeleah a wonderful blessing and did a great job. He was choked up and it was making me cry. It was just a wonderful blessing and I am so thankful that my mom was able to be here for it and that I have a husband that was able to give it.

All looked good.
And lots of time at home doing feedings, changings, and all the other things that babies do and need.
Adeleah is a great baby, we love her so much and are so thankful to have her in our family. She sleeps great (really good during the day). The only time she cries is when she is getting her diaper changed or when she wants food. Anyway, thats about all I can think of right now. Oh and as a side note, I am feeling much better. Still not able to do everything I want to but hopefully soon they will say I can do things again. (like vacuum my house) Well, enjoy the pictures and hopefully I will post sooner next time.

We are all doing good. Adeleah is great and we are so happy to have her here finally. Gabe is being a great daddy and husband. I am doing good and just happy to have it all over with.

The short story: Sat morning about 9:30am my water broke, went to hospital. By sunday about 5 am we pushed for about an hour, stopped. Started pushing again around 8am pushed for about 4 hours. Then tried to suck her out with a vacuum, didn't work. 30 minutes later we were having a c-section and within 20 minutes she was born. So after spending 4 days in the hospital we came home tuesday afternoon.

Sorry I haven't posted sooner but I am pretty immobile. I will try to post again at some point but there won't be much for a few weeks.
